OREM, Utah, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- A Utah police department is asking the owner of a seized drone to step forward and claim it -- as well as its videos of unsuspecting residents in bathrooms.

The Orem Police Department said the quadcopter drone was seized Saturday morning when a man spotted it hovering near his window and followed the unmanned aircraft to a church parking lot, where it landed without any sign of the operator.

Police seized the drone and discovered it contained multiple videos of unsuspecting residents as seen through the windows in their bathrooms and bedrooms.

The drone also contained footage of its own operator, who police said is known to investigators and has a previous conviction for voyeurism.

The post said police are hoping to speak to someone to answers "yes" to the questions posed by the department:

"1-Are you missing a quadcopter? 2-Did you lose it this morning, in Orem? 3-Are you looking over your shoulder to see if the police are following you? 4-Have you been convicted of Voyeurism in the past? 5-Does the SD card in your quadcopter camera have videos of people in their private bedrooms and/or bathrooms? 6-On the same SD card is there a picture of you flying your quadcopter? 7-Would you like to turn yourself in before we have to come knocking at your door, maybe on Christmas morning, with a warrant?"

The post included a photo of the device with text reading, "We found your drone," as well as a photo of the operator with his face hidden by an emoji.

"We know who you are but let's make this easier on everyone!" the post said.
