A father and son in California spotted a pair of mountain lions swimming in a local lake. Blake Alexander, 11, filmed the encounter on his cellphone while he and his father Kevin were out fishing on Shasta Lake.

Blake filmed the swimming mountain lions on his cellphone and said the animals did not appear to be bothered by the presence of him and his father.
"We see two things in the water that we had never seen before, so we stopped, turned around for a quick second, and next thing you know we see two large mountain lions swimming across the lake," Kevin Alexander told KRON.
The two said the experience would be unforgettable, as they watched the mountain lions calmly swim across the lake.
"I was excited. I really wasn't scared because mountain lions really can't get out of the water when they're swimming in the middle of the lake," Blake said.
