The firefighters tie a rope around one of the rescuers, who wades into the quicksand in an attempt to pull the teen to safety while his colleagues hold onto the rope from shore.

The teenager proves to be firmly stuck in the quicksand, leading a second firefighter to venture out to help.

The firefighters are eventually able to get the boy to safety and return to land with the help of the safety rope.
