A New Jersey bear named Pedals became something of a celebrity after being repeatedly caught on camera walking on its hind legs due to injuries to the animal's front paws. New Jersey officials said they believe Pedals was killed by a hunter earlier this month, but they were unable to confirm the identity of the slain bear due to the lack of available samples of Pedals' DNA.
