SeaWorld Orlando fitted a female Adelie penguin, known as Wonder Twin, with a special wetsuit to help her cope with her feather loss. The wetsuit makes up for Wonder Twin's lack of feathers by helping the penguin regulate her temperature inside her frigid habitat.

"Wonder Twin is a female Adelie penguin has recently begun to experience feather-loss, something that can happen to penguins in their natural habitats and wild populations and can prove to detrimental," SeaWorld said.
The loss of her insulating feathers made it difficult for Wonder Twin to regulate her temperature in the frigid, Arctic-style exhibit.
SeaWorld's team crafted the custom-made wetsuit to perform the same function as her missing feathers and allow her to continue to live with her fellow penguins.
"Wonder Twin swims, sleeps and eats alongside her fellow penguins while wearing her wetsuit," SeaWorld said.
