LIVELY, Ontario, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- A distinctly Canadian version of llama drama began with the escaped animal trotting down an Ontario street and ended at a Tim Hortons doughnut shop.

Residents of Lively said they were surprised and a bit confused Wednesday morning when the llama was seen jogging through the middle of a downtown street.

A video posted to Facebook by witness John Porter shows the animal turning from Main Street into a gas station.

Resident Becky Punkari said the llama is named Sylvie and is well known to some locals from previous escapes.

Punkari said Sylvie's owner rounded up the llama at the local Tim Hortons and took her for a walk through the area to greet neighbors on her way home.
