OCEAN CITY, Md., Sept. 8 (UPI) -- A man who reeled in a massive sand tiger shark at a Maryland beach said he kayaked a large tuna head about 350 yards out into the water as bait.

A video of the capture last month at an Ocean City beach shows the man dragging the 7-foot shark out of the water.

The man and his fishing companions remove the hook from the shark's mouth before dragging it back out into the water.

The video uploader said it took about 20 minutes to reel in the shark after it took the bait.
