Tiny ant shows off its power by dragging huge moth

CHIANG MAI, Thailand, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- An ant in Thailand showed off its impressive strength by dragging a much larger moth across a floor without any assistance.

The video, filmed in Chiang Mai, shows the ant crawling around and examining the dead moth for several seconds in an apparent attempt to figure out the best mode of transport.

The ant eventually grabs hold of the larger insect and starts dragging it across the floor.

The insect makes slow and steady progress thanks to its impressive strength for its small size.
