"When I saw it coming towards me, its eyes were just pointed to the side so you couldn't see any of its eyes. But you could see it's white and just the nose was coming right at you," Jake told CBS Boston.
Jake was excited to report their findings on the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy's shark tracking app Sharktivity, while his father was more concerned with making sure the two didn't wind up as the shark's dinner.
