Man named Vladimir Putin arrested in Florida supermarket

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- A man named Vladimir Putin was arrested in Florida and could potentially face trespassing charges at a local supermarket.

According to WPLG, a manager at a Publix supermarket in West Palm Beach called police and reported that Putin, who has no relation to the Russian president, was screaming at employees.

Managers reportedly asked Putin, 48, to leave the supermarket but he refused and told West Palm Beach Police he missed his ride.

Putin was held on $1,000 bond and appeared in court on Monday.
