BRECKENRIDGE, Colo., Aug. 25 (UPI) -- A Colorado police department said a 300-pound bear was relocated after spending two days camped out under a resident's porch.

The Breckenridge Police Department said in a Facebook post officers assisted Colorado Parks and Wildlife with tranquilizing the animal and removing it from beneath a homeowner's deck, where it had been for about two days.

The bear will be relocated away from the resident's house if it is found to be in good health, the post said.
