NOOSA HEADS, Australia, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- An Australian man out for a jet ski ride captured video of his encounter with a massive tiger shark he found hooked to a barrel line.

Jonah Cooper posted a video to Facebook showing the tiger shark he spotted swimming under his jet ski off Granite Bay in the Noosa National Park area.

"Tiger shark checkin' me out today... I think I'm gonna need a bigger jetski!" Cooper wrote.

He said he didn't feel threatened during the encounter.

"It wasn't being aggressive or anything... it was a beautiful spectacle," he told the Sunshine Coast Daily.

He estimated the tiger shark was about 15 feet long.

Cooper reported his discovery to the Department of Fisheries, but the manager of the Shark Control Program said the predator was gone by the time investigators arrived. He said the shark must have either freed itself or was removed dead or alive by another person.
