ST. LOUIS, Aug. 5 (UPI) -- A mysterious light was captured on video flying above the famous Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Mo., and experts have been unable to identify the source.

A witness, Chase Rhoads, said he was outside the Casino Queen in East St. Louis, Ill., between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. Tuesday when he captured the unidentified flying object on video.

"It didn't fly over, it didn't do any of that. It just appeared," Rhoads told KTVI-TV.

The same light was captured on a security camera at the nearby Malcolm W. Martin Memorial Park.

"We guarantee you will be perplexed if you watch all 5 minutes of this surveillance footage!" the park said in a Facebook post.

The nearby Scott Airforce Base said no unusual activity was reported Monday night or Tuesday morning.
