Friendly dolphins approach paddleboarder, play 'game of chicken'

STONE HARBOR, N.J., July 14 (UPI) -- A paddleboarder off the New Jersey coast made friends with a pod of curious young dolphins that approached him and swam under his board.

The video, recorded July 7, shows the dolphins, including one baby, swimming alongside and under the filmer's paddleboard.

One of the dolphins uses its tail to whip a piece of seaweed into the air.

The filmer wrote the dolphins were "playing a game of chicken with the nose of my board."
