TORONTO, July 6 (UPI) -- A featherless rescued cockatoo in Canada showed off its dance moves while resting on its owner's shoulder.

Kurter Barnett shared a video of the pet cockatoo holding a piece of food in its mouth while apparently bobbing its head to music playing in the background.

The cockatoo who Barnett and others refer to as "naked chicken" is featherless below the head because they irritated him after a history of abuse.

"I rescued him over 6 years ago...he was tormented by young children with original owner...his nervousness and stress caused thus and now...with the time passed...he does grow feathers but it irritates him and he pulls them," Katherine Segundavida Rescue wrote in the comments.
