HUTCHINSON ISLAND, Fla., June 30 (UPI) -- A pair of Florida fishermen reeling in a 4-foot black tip shark captured the moment a huge bull shark appeared in the water and ripped the smaller predator in half.

Peter Hinck posted a video to his Palm Beach Pete channel on YouTube showing footage from his fishing trip off Hutchinson Island with a friend he identified as K.C.

The video shows K.C. working to reel in a 4-foot black tip shark, intending to release it, when a huge bull shark suddenly makes an appearance and bites the black tip's body in half.

"Fishing the outflow from a Nuclear Power Plant in a kayak my friend KC hooks into a 4 foot black tip shark only to have it ripped in half by a very large Bull Shark and it didn't stop after that. I did my best to get some video of the attack from my paddle board. Wow, that was crazy," Hinck wrote.
