Massachusetts Environmental Police shared photos of the large male bear, which was reported by homeowners at the residential area in the Town of Orange. Advertisement "The bear had been seen in the area several times for over a week feeding on garbage and bird feeders," police wrote on Facebook. Several police departments worked together to chemically immobilize and monitored it while transporting it away from the area. "The bear was transported to an undisclosed rural location where it was monitored until it fully recovered from the effects of the immobilization agent," police wrote.
