LOS ANGELES, June 24 (UPI) -- The soon-to-be-opened glass side on the exterior of a Los Angeles skyscraper was filmed being tested out by thrill-seekers on the 70th floor.

The 45-foot-long glass slide, which takes riders from the 70th floor to the 69th floor on the outside of the U.S. Bank Tower, hosted its first test-riders Saturday and the thrills were caught on camera by Sterling Davis, who filmed the slide from a neighboring building and posted the video to YouTube.

The riders can be heard screaming on the slide despite their distance from the camera.

The slide, part of the tower's $50 million Skyspace renovation project, is due to open to the public officially on Saturday.
