ABERDEEN, Scotland, June 22 (UPI) -- A shopkeeper in Scotland captured video showing the return of his arch-enemy: a thieving sea gull that attempted to flee with a bag of chips.

Zaman Iqbal, a manager at 24 Hour Sweet News in Aberdeen, posted a video to Facebook showing his profanity-filled chase with a sea gull he caught trying to flee with a bag of Golden Wonder brand barbecue-flavored chips.

The gull drops the chips on the floor and flies out of the store empty-beaked when confronted by the manager.

Iqbal previously filmed a confrontation with an attempted sea gull shoplifter in September of last year.

"I've had seagulls come in trying to pinch the snacks for a while now," Iqbal told STV this week. "Some of them don't make it very far but this one managed to get hold of some crisps."

"It could be the one that came here before. It must have thought the heat had died down and that security was low," he said. "It was sneaky but luckily I managed to chase it off. I just shouted at it and it dropped the crisps."

"It's happened a few times now but I know how to deal with the sea gulls. You just run at them from behind and they will make their way out," Iqbal said.
