A snake is added to the box's contents before it is sealed by Duarte's assistant and then lifted by a crane.
The box, still containing the activist and the snake, is then lit on fire.
After a few moments, the extinguished box is lowered to the ground and Duarte is revealed to have escaped from his chains and placed the snake in his mouth.
Duarte has previously performed other snake-in-mouth-related stunts to raise awareness of deforestation.
