Motorcyclist's dash cam catches near miss with bold kangaroo

SYDNEY, May 26 (UPI) -- A motorcyclist's dashboard camera captured his near-miss with a kangaroo that ran into the road in front of him while he was cruising down an Australian road.

The video shows the dash cam footage from the motorcyclist's May 15 cruise down an otherwise empty New South Wales road.

The biker travels down a straight section of road where a kangaroo jumps out of some foliage and hops into the roadway as if it intends to cross.

The kangaroo and motorcyclist appear to notice one another in time to veer in separate directions, avoiding a potentially disastrous crash.
