Reddit created a "horse-sized duck" in reference to the popular Internet question, "Would you rather fight 100 duck-sized horses or 1 horse-sized duck?" The duck was made entirely from balloons during a two-hour live-stream from the Internet forum's San Francisco headquarters.

SAN FRANCISCO, May 4 (UPI) -- Popular Internet forum Reddit constructed a "horse-sized duck" made entirely out of balloons in honor of a long-running joke.

Reddit's San Francisco headquarters live-streamed the construction of the duck, which serves as a monument to the question, "Would you rather fight 100 duck-sized horses or 1 horse-sized duck?"

The question had become a staple of the site's "Ask Me Anything" events, in which celebrities, politicians and Internet personalities answer questions posed by the Reddit community.

Several web sources, including a Reddit thread asking about the popularity of the question, mention a 2012 AMA with President Barack Obama as one of its most notable appearances.

The balloon duck took more than an hour to assemble and was constructed by Kat and her assistant Colin from San Francisco Balloon Twister.

Once construction was completed, Reddit employees proceeded to destroy it using "laser cats," orange acid and Nerf nails.
