Dog horrifies woman by eating butterfly

WASHINGTON, May 3 (UPI) -- A woman's attempt to capture a video of her dog and a butterfly together took a negative turn when the dog decided to turn the insect into a snack.

Video shared by Instagram user asiamarie___ shows her filming a close-up shot of a butterfly before calling her dog, Bentley, over to have a look as well.

The brief encounter quickly turns disastrous as Bentley sniffs the butterfly before grabbing it his mouth and running away.

The woman screams in terror as the dog seemingly devoured the small insect and sarcastically titled the video "Thanks Bentley."
