Loose alpaca captured in Massachusetts

SHIRLEY, Mass., April 29 (UPI) -- Police in Massachusetts are seeking the owners of an escaped alpaca seen wandering near a local road.

The Shirley, Mass., police department shared a photo of the rogue alpaca which was captured by a police sergeant and Ayer Animal Control.

The photos show the group attempting to lure the alpaca using a Dunkin' Donuts paper bag, before lassoing it.

Police are encouraging the owners or anyone with info about the alpaca to contact them.
