BRISBANE, Australia, March 25 (UPI) -- Passengers on an Australian commuter train were treated to a flashmob-style surprise when they were serenaded by the cast of The Sound of Music.

Riders on a Brisbane train Thursday afternoon pulled out their phones and started to record when a young woman began singing "Do-Re-Mi" from the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical.

A video posted to Facebook by Allport Millinery shows a group of children on the train were revealed to be participants in the stunt as they one-by-one stood up and joined in the song.

The woman and children were revealed to be the cast of a touring production of The Sound of Music that is currently showing in Brisbane.

"First trip ever on the Brisbane trains and this happens! .... Just your average Thursday afternoon... A flashmob singing on the train," the Facebook post reads.
