CINCINNATI, March 24 (UPI) -- The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden celebrated the coming Easter holiday by hosting a special egg hunt event just for gorillas.

The zoo posted a video to YouTube showing its western lowland gorillas searching their enclosure for painted hard-boiled eggs and other treats.

The gorilla Easter egg hunt is an annual tradition at the zoo, keepers said.

The facility said similar egg hunts will take place on Easter for other animals including tigers, lions, polar bears and monkeys.
