BOYNTON BEACH, Fla., March 21 (UPI) -- A Florida fisherman documented "the struggles of being a hammerhead" as the shark battled to keep track of a smaller fish it intended to make into a meal.

The video, posted to YouTube by TeamRebel FishingTV, features footage filmed from a charter kayak as a hammerhead shark comes up close to chase after a blue runner fish.

The blue runner nearly succeeds in giving the hammerhead the slip, but is eventually turned into a tasty snack.

"Hammerheads have eyes on either side of their head, which makes it difficult for them to see and catch quick small baits. Many times their prey can escape, however this blue runner was not so fortunate," the uploader wrote.
