Monkey plays with zoo visitor's dropped cellphone

KUNMING, China, March 15 (UPI) -- A visitor to a Chinese zoo captured video of a monkey playing with a cellphone dropped into its enclosure by an unlucky spectator.

The video shows a monkey at the Kunming zoo's Monkey Mountain attraction playing with the dropped smartphone.

The small primate proves unsuccessful at switching on the device, which appears to have been damaged when it was dropped.

Witnesses said the phone was dropped by a young woman who quickly determined she would never get it back.
