Man straps chainsaw to rotating tree house to take down competing tree

SANDPOINT, Idaho, March 15 (UPI) -- A Idaho man who built a rotating tree house filmed his successful attempt to fell another tree by strapping a chainsaw to the moving structure.

Ethan Schlussler posted a video to YouTube showing how he removed a tree that was blocking his rotating tree house from making full turns.

The footage shows Schlussler strapping a chainsaw to the tree house and then rotating the structure until the saw blade made contact with the other tree.

The saw easily cuts through the tree, allowing the tree house to continue on the path of its rotation.

"So we built a tree house that rotates. But then there was a tree in the way, so we cut it down. And we used the tree to do it. Why? Because we can, of course," Schlussler wrote.
