AUCKLAND, New Zealand, March 14 (UPI) -- A New Zealand zoo said a "cheeky" squirrel monkey gave his legs a rest by hitching a ride on the back of an unusual Uber -- a capybara.

The Auckland Zoo said in a Facebook post the squirrel monkey was recorded by the zoo's "keeper cam" taking a ride on the back of a congenial capybara.

"Squirrel monkeys are known to be a little cheeky, so it was only a matter of time before one of them was captured on camera hitching a ride on a capybara!" the zoo said.

Capybaras, semi-aquatic animals native to South America, are the largest rodents in the world, growing to an adult size of 2 feet tall.
