Thor was hit by a car in February and suffered several injuries, including a broken shoulder and broken jaw.
The video takes place about three weeks after his emergency surgery, and while Thor takes nearly 20 minutes to begin eating,the narrator assures this is typical behavior for bobcats.
"He's being really, really cautious because that's the way bobcats are supposed to be," she said. "We're happy that he's eating as well as he is."
Thor ultimately eats the majority of his food, leaving only a bit of beef before becoming distracted by sounds of the center's other animals.
He has been slowly recovering since the accident and is scheduled to receive dental surgery later this month.
"Thor is doing great," Big Cat Rescue wrote on Facebook. "His dental is scheduled for March 14 and he may be the first cat ever to get a titanium tooth."
