WHITNEY, Texas, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- A Texas man was recorded hand-feeding a fish to a large diamondback water snake living behind his home.

The Whitney man said there are three Nerodia rhombifers, more commonly known as diamondback water snakes, living in the water behind his home.

The man said he spent about two months working with the snakes until they were comfortable being hand-fed fish on his dock.

The video shows a large diamondback slithering up onto the man's dock to take a fish from his hand.
