PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 22 (UPI) -- An enterprising Girl Scout in Oregon found an innovative way to quickly reach her cookie-selling goal: Catering to the "munchies" of pot shop customers.

The Girl Scout set up shop with her aunt outside the Foster Buds Marijuana Dispensary in Portland Saturday and the pair said they expected to quickly reach their goal of selling 35 boxes.

The scout made reference to the pot shop's business with her handmade sign, which read: "Satisfy Your Munchies."

The shop shared a photo on Instagram of the pair peddling their cookies outside the store.

"The Girl Scouts organization said they don't condone this, but it's not against the rules," the girl's aunt told KATU-TV.

"It seems like people are happy we're here," the Girl Scout said.

A representative from the Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington said officials "recommend that if a minor cannot enter a premises unaccompanied, she should not sell Girl Scout Cookies in front of the premises."
