Rescue dog named Ginger Rogers expresses herself through dance

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- A rescue dog in a Florida shelter likes to express itself through dance.

Video shared to Facebook shows the dog, named Ginger Rogers, dancing on its hind legs as staff from Orange County Animal Services in Orlando stop by to pay her a visit.

"Ginger Rogers is looking for a new dance partner!" Crystal L. Kincaid wrote when she shared the video on the shelter's Facebook page.

Her adoption page states that Ginger Rogers is an approximately 1-year-old female dog that has been at the shelter since Feb. 8.

It also notes that someone has applied to adopt the dancing dog, and that her due-out date is Feb. 17.

Along with enjoying the occasional dance, Ginger is described as friendly and tested positive for heart worms.

Ginger Rogers is looking for a new dance partner!
