ANGLE TOWNSHIP, Minn., Feb. 4 (UPI) -- A Minnesota ice fisherman captured video of a thieving mink burrowing into his shack and stealing a recently caught walleye.

The video, posted to YouTube by user The Next Bite, features footage recorded by a fisherman named Keith while he was ice fishing in a shack on Lake of the Woods.

Keith spots the mink burrowing into his shack and initially speculates the animal is out to munch on minnow, but the mink has its sights set higher and soon grabs Keith's catch, a walleye.

The fisherman chases after the mink with a mix of laughter and annoyance at the "thief."

Keith was able to recover his fish and chase off the mink, which briefly took an accidental dip in one of the ice fishing holes.

The uploader said the mink continued to hang around Keith's shack until he took pity on the animal and gave it one of his walleyes.
