BATON ROUGE, La., Feb. 4 (UPI) -- A Louisiana pet owner shared video online of his snuggle session with an unusual "lap dog" -- a toucan.
The video, posted to YouTube by the Ripley the Toucan channel, shows Ripley having a cuddle with her owner, Brock, at their Louisiana home.
"Our toucan is basically a lap dog," Brock wrote on Reddit.
He said Ripley's "clacking" noises, which some Redditors compared to the sounds made by Jurassic Park dinosaurs or the Predator, were a way of showing her mood.
"In this instance the 'clacking' was just her being silly I think. But they use the clicking sound to show many different moods, depending on the pitch. Usually it means they're contented. But they do it just to try and talk to you as well," he wrote.
