MINTO, N.D., Feb. 3 (UPI) -- A North Dakota motorist's dashboard camera captured footage of sundogs -- illusions that resemble spare suns in the sky.

The video, recorded Tuesday on a stretch of North Dakota road, shows the sun in the sky with a giant luminescent halo.

The halo features a sundog, or "phantom sun," on each side.

The illusions result from light reflecting off ice in the atmosphere. The uploader said the ice was likely the result of a blizzard in Nebraska.
