Wild boar frolics in the waves at Italian beach

ELBA, Italy, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- A visitor to an Italian beach captured video of a wild boar enjoying a day frolicking in the sand and playing among the waves.

The video, filmed Sunday at a beach in Elba, shows the boar merrily chasing the waves and being carried back to shore by the water.

The gleeful swine trots along the shoreline and is able to jump over a couple smaller waves before being shoved again by a larger wave.

The boar, apparently satisfied with its aquatic adventure, then departs for places unknown.
