LINVILLE, N.C., Jan. 26 (UPI) -- A pair of otters at Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina made the best of snowy conditions following the snowstorm that swept across the east coast.

The video posted to Facebook shows the two otters, named Oscar and Nova, jumping about and climbing on large piles of snow as the park remained close to visitors.

"Grandfather mountain is still closed due to this weekend's snow," the park wrote on Facebook. "All hands are on deck though working to get the park open for the coming week. Well, all hands and webbed feet that is."

The park reopened on Monday after staff and the resident otters helped to clear the area of excessive snowfall.
