Australia Day celebrated by country's most patriotic pickup truck

PERTH, Australia, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- An Australian dashboard camera captured video of perhaps the country's most patriotic motorist marking Australia Day with an unusual number of flags.

The video, filmed by Mario Martinelli and posted to the Dashcam Owners Australia group on Facebook, shows a motorist's drive through what initially appears to be an average parking lot in Western Australia.

A Nissan pickup truck then appears at the other end of the lot and it quickly becomes apparent that the vehicle is decked out in Australian flags.

At least 19 flags can be seen on the truck before it drives out of frame.

Australia Day, celebrated Jan. 26, commemorates the arrival of British ships on the continent in 1788.
