WASHINGTON, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- The Smithsonian's National Zoo shared video of Washington's biggest winter weather fan, Tian Tian the giant panda, playing on the freshly fallen snow.

The video, posted to Facebook by the Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute, shows Tian Tian rolling and frolicking in the snow Saturday morning.

"Tian Tian woke up this morning to a lot of snow...and he was pretty excited about it," the zoo said.

The Washington, D.C., area was blanketed by more than 20 inches of snow by the weekend's winter storms.
