SHELBY, Mich., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- A Michigan police department shared dashboard camera footage from a cruiser that was struck by a vehicle with the motorist's brother on the hood.

The Shelby Police Department said in a Facebook post officers responding to a Jan. 7 domestic violence complaint expected to find two brothers fighting inside a home.

However, they instead discovered one of the brothers on the hood of a car being driven by the other brother.

The car headed straight for the patrol cruiser and crashed head-on into the police car.

Police said nobody was injured in the incident, and both brothers were arrested on separate charges.

Yesterday we responded to the 7000 block of Tottenham for a domestic violence complaint. Two brothers were fighting in the home. When patrol arrived, they saw a white car approaching with a male subject hanging on to the hood of the car. Officer activates overhead lights and stops patrol car...you can see in the video what happens next. (After investigation, both brothers were arrested on separate charges, but the way). Thankfully, nobody was injured.
