NATICK, Mass., Jan. 8 (UPI) -- A Massachusetts police department reported a case of "poultry in pursuit" after a turkey was seen chasing one of the station's police cruisers.

Natick Police Department shared video of the turkey, who stood by the cruiser as it backed out of its parking pace and proceeded to run after the vehicle as it drove away.

"Our Downtown Dinde has taken a fascination with looking at himself in our hubcaps," a post on the department's Facebook page said. "Each cruiser is being equipped with a gravy air freshener to keep him away."

This was not Natick police's only encounter with the turkey as the comments reveal a photo of the bird resting on a traffic light several nights earlier.
