CROZET, Va., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- A deer wandered into a Virginia middle school and reenacted the slippery ice scene from Bambi on the school's freshly-cleaned floors.

The video, posted to Facebook by Albemarle County Public Schools, shows the deer attempting to run down a hallway at J.T. Henley Middle School in Crozet but having trouble keeping its footing on the school's slippery floors.

The deer slips and slides for more than a minute in a style reminiscent of the frozen pond scene from the 1942 Disney classic Bambi.

"You never know what you may find at Henley Middle School. Those floors sure are slippery. Thank you to Mr. Souradji Issotou for all his help with removing the deer safely and securely. All is well in #ACPS. You're welcome for this bit of fun for the day," the school district said in the Facebook post.
