Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe BRANDON TOWNSHIP, Mich., Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Authorities in Michigan said a burglary suspect spent up to 11 hours trapped in a restaurant's pizza oven exhaust vent. The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to the Cracker Barrel Party & Pizza store in Brandon Township about 11 a.m. Sunday on a report of a man calling for help. Advertisement Deputies discovered the man was trapped in an exhaust air duct for the eatery's pizza oven, about halfway between the floor and the roof. The man was freed by firefighters from Brandon Township and Independence Township. Investigators said the man apparently tried to enter the building through a rooftop exhaust vent and ended up trapped in the duct for up to 11 hours. The 32-year-old man was arrested and taken to McLaren Hospital with minor injuries and dehydration. The man is currently on parole for 2012 convictions on charges of breaking and entering and possession of a controlled substance, police said. He was also convicted in 2005 on a home invasion charge.
