BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Famous Internet feline Lil Bub is releasing a new album called Science & Magic on Dec. 4.

The album will be released via distributor Joyful Noise and will feature 10 tracks including "Assimilation," "Good Job" and "Rebirth."

Musician Andrew W.K. collaborated with Lil Bub on this album. He said that although it "may seem impossible" for a cat to compose an album full of "carefully crafted instrumental music," Lil Bub is more than a cat, as she is "on an intergalactic mission" to benefit others with her magic and talents.

W.K. said the time he spent with the cat has made him a better person. The producer added that the feline also worked with musicians Mike Bridavsky (her owner) and his close friend Matt.

"If it weren't for BUB," W.K. said, "this music would not exist."

Bub was recently the star of a documentary on cats and the fascination people have with them. VICE Magazine issued a trailer in September about an upcoming feature-length film about Lil Bub and her experience at the inaugural Internet Cat Video Film Festival, which took place in Minneapolis in August. The event hosted 10,000 people.

Lil Bub issued a statement about the festival on her Tumblr page, saying "I'm ecstatic after my trip to Minneapolis. VICE is making a movie about me. I've never been happier or more content."

Producer Juliette Eisner told the Huffington Post that the purpose behind the documentary is to " focus on the ever-growing obsession with cats on the Internet."
