COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- A Danish travel company's "Do It For Mom" campaign is encouraging parents to send their adult children on vacations to make more babies.

Travel firm Spies released an ad titled "Do It For Mom" that encourages aspiring grandparents to "sponsor" vacations abroad for their children by citing studies that suggest Danes have more sex on vacation.

The ad cites figures indicating birth rates in Denmark have dropped steeply in recent years, and says "those who suffer the most are perhaps the mothers who will never experience having a grandchild."

The ad says "it might be a bit awkward to help out" during sexual encounters, while a mother in the video attempts to help her son remove a woman's bra during an intimate encounter.

The commercial suggests the answer to the problem is to send adult children on baby-making vacations.

"Send your child on an active holiday and get a grandchild within nine months," the ad touts.

The company said in a "Do It For Denmark" video last year that an estimated 10 percent of Danish babies were conceived abroad.
