MORNINGTON, Australia, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- A pair of Australian men used pine cones to rescue a duck that somehow got itself trapped inside a Tuscan urn with a small opening.

The video, posted to YouTube by user nicholsoncartoons, features Matthew West and Peter Nicholson attempting to help a duck that somehow trapped itself inside a Tuscan urn.

The men explain in the video they are filling the jar with pine cones to help the duck climb up, as they fear the large duck would be injured if they attempted to reach in and pull it out.

"If we just grabbed him and tried to bring him out, we might break his neck," one of the men says.

The pile of pine cones eventually reaches high enough for the duck to climb out and fly away. "OK, one happy duck!" the man shooting the video says.
