WASHINGTON, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- A homeowner who set up a camera to watch her hummingbird feeder captured footage of a "dancing queen hummingbird" rubbing "its tooshie on the porch."

The video, posted to YouTube by user suedaisy, shows the hummingbird circle the feeder without ever actually eating and repeatedly rub its backside against the wooden surface of the porch.

The user suggested the bird, which appeared to have some trouble steering its own movements, may have been doing "a strange dance," or the avian might be "broken."

Suedaisy branded the creature "the dancing queen hummingbird" in a post on Reddit.

"I have no idea what my hummingbird is doing.. but she/he did this strange dance for over an hour. I thought maybe it needed help but it had the ability to chase off other hummingbirds," the video's description reads.
