WASHINGTON, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- The mother of a book-loving baby boy shared video showing how the budding bibliophile bawls his eyes out every time his parents finish reading a book.

YouTuber leesedanielle uploaded a video to the site showing her reading the end of a baby-oriented board book to her baby son.

The baby -- wearing a T-shirt reading, "The Snuggle Is Real" -- bursts into tears as soon as his mother says, "the end," and closes the book.

The mother opens the book again and starts reading, causing the baby to cease his weeping, but the crying resumes as soon as the story ends again.

The video goes on to show multiple incidents of the boy's mother and father finishing books, saying "the end," and being met with uncontrollable bawling.

The mother branded her son "the saddest bookworm."

"He knows no greater sadness than the end of a book," she wrote in the video's description.
